Baltimore, Md – October 12, 2004 – College of Notre Dame of Maryland has chosen Planit, the Baltimore-based integrated brand communications agency, to handle its media planning and buying for the 2005 academic year.
The campaign, “Learn for Life,” runs on Baltimore radio and television and in print outlets regionally and nationally and will continue through the end of the academic year, June 30, 2005. The campaign’s radio spots feature the voices of Jake Robards, son of the late actor Jason Robards, and Rachel Boston, who stars in NBC’s “American Dreams.”
“We selected Planit because the agency has an impressive background in higher education,” said Sandi Van Horn, marketing manager for the College of Notre Dame of Maryland. “We also appreciated their follow-through and attention to detail during the selection process. Planit clearly had a strong interest in building a good working relationship with us.”
“We are delighted to be working with the College of Notre Dame,” said Matt Doud, Planit’s president. “As a full-service agency, we can leverage our strategic media buying and planning capabilities to support the college’s mission.”
