
Baltimore, Md. – September 1, 2007 – Planit, the Baltimore-based marketing communications agency, has attracted three experienced senior executives to its ranks: Anthony T. Ill, CPA, as Planit’s chief financial officer; Katie Coffey, as director of business development; and Kim Axtell as an account supervisor. “As Planit continues to grow and evolve, we are excited to bring people onboard who share our passion for ideas and innovation,” said Planit President Matt Doud.
- Ill, who has close to 20 years experience in finance and operations, most recently served as a principle of his own business consulting firm serving a range of organizations, including Constellation Energy Group. His focus was on developing business plans, conducting financial planning and helping companies secure financing.
- As director of business development, Coffey will drive Planit’s business development activities and strategy. Prior to joining Plait, Coffey was vice president of sales and creative strategy for one of the world’s leading direct mail marketing and manufacturing houses, Quadriga Art, where she was responsible for generating new sales, maintaining existing clients and leading creative development.
- Axtell, who will serve as an account supervisor at Planit, has extensive marketing and communications experience having worked with multiple national campaigns for business-to-business as well as consumer brands including Fila, Weight Watchers and Choice Hotels. She joins Planit from MGH Advertising where she served as an account manager.
