Baltimore, Md. – June 9, 2008 – In an ongoing effort to continue to strengthen the knowledge base and expertise of its advertising and marketing communications, Baltimore-based agency Planit has hired advertising and branding expert Bill Ferguson as its director of client services.
In his new role, Ferguson will be responsible for overseeing the work of Planit’s client services team, leading new business opportunities and outreach, as well as strategic agency growth initiatives.
“Bill brings to Planit a tremendous amount of experience with the world’s leading brands,” says Matt Doud, president and co-founder, Planit. “His expertise and client roster change the game at Planit and help position us for bigger and bolder initiatives.”
Ferguson’s agency experience ranges from powerhouses DDB and DMB&B to GSD&M in Austin, Texas. Clients he has worked with include such brands as AMD, Budweiser, Miller Lite, Monsanto, P.F. Chang’s, Phillips Petroleum, Whataburger and Wolf Range. Before joining Planit, he held the position of Executive Director at Rodgers Townsend in St Louis, where he helped launch the new AT&T, following its acquisition by RT client Southwestern Bell.
