Baltimore, Md. – May 11, 2006 – Planit, the Baltimore-based advertising and marketing agency today announced that it has won a gold national ADDY award for its HTML “Beynon Sports Surfaces” Web site and a silver for the animation and special effects in “Give A Stranger A Flower Day” 3D TV spot. This is the first national ADDY win for the agency.

In addition to Planit, five other Baltimore agencies also went on to compete at the national level. Planit and Outloud were the only agencies to win gold. Outloud won gold for their “Jiffy” radio spot for the Jiffy Lube Baltimore Co-op.

Silver ADDYs were awarded to FastSpot for the Cambridge Architectural Mesh website, and Planit for “Give A Stranger A Flower 3D” television. Eisner Communications was awarded two Silver ADDYs, one for their “I’m Sooo Hot” television spot for the Maryland Lottery, and one for their “Football” television spot for Slickstreet.

At the National level of competition, the District winners went on to compete against entries from across the country, from which only 62 Gold ADDYs, and 90 Silver ADDYs were awarded.

The National ADDY Awards Reception will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2006, at the AAF Conference in San Francisco.
