INTERACTIVE ART DIRECTOR

Planit is looking for an Interactive Art Director to help us creatively solve problems by bringing a fresh and interesting perspective along with proven experience and leadership. As such, you will be part of a team that is responsible for how client brands are brought to life visually, online. You will help come up with ideas and executions for digital campaigns and websites, and create engaging content that is distributed across various digital mediums. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Brings senior-level creative thought/concepts/execution to various channels including websites, social media, and various other digital formats
  • Works directly, and often, with digital strategy department to ensure deliverables are are UX-smart as they are visually/operationally appealing
  • Pays close attention to detail, designs on-brand, and works individually or as part of a team
  • Held to high creative standards that require invention, imagination, originality and talent 
  • Designs, lays out, and produces a broad set of marketing materials, delivering projects from brief to end user in partnership with the clients, account teams, and creative
  • Collaborates with a team to develop and manage creative, producing and delivering pixel-perfect files

TASKS

  • Plays an active role in brainstorming or idea generation with senior members of the creative team to conceptualize transformational ideas that deliver successful, measurable solutions
  • Presents to/advises client on all visual recommendations and/or challenges
  • Delivers work that exceeds client expectations while confirming that it meets all client objectives (business, fiscal, deadlines) and enhancing the reputation of the agency
  • Develops and leads original concepts based on the objectives and parameters outlined in the creative brief (strategic, financial, timeline), ensuring creative integrity across platforms
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5-10 years in a full-time Senior Designer/Art Director role
  • Able to conceptualize, design, and execute graphics for any kind of medium 
  • A solid sense of design and creativity that is fresh and modern
  • Demonstrated ability to think creatively and provide marketable solutions in conceiving, developing, and producing tactics
  • An upbeat attitude and self-motivation
  • Able to work efficiently on multiple projects to meet tight deadlines
  • Fluent knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and Google G Suite
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
