Planit, a Baltimore-based marketing communications agency, is pleased to announce the continued growth of the agency with the addition of Caitlin Mills as public relations account executive and Michael McCormick as traffic coordinator.

Mills will focus on strategic development for public relations clients, plan and execute media relations campaigns, and play a vital role in new business initiatives. As traffic coordinator, McCormick will monitor all print jobs throughout the agency, oversee workflow, route projects to departments within the agency, and ensure that all deadlines are met.

The addition of Caitlin and Mike helps Planit to continue to strive to become the leader in our industry, both regionally and nationally.”

Mills brings three years of public relations experience to Planit. Prior to joining Planit, Mills was an associate at Warschawski, a Baltimore-based marketing firm, where she executed national media relations campaigns and secured coverage in high-level media outlets. She has experience in developing strategic campaign initiatives for clients including Innovation Norway, W.L. Gore & Associates, DEWALT, and MaggieMoo’s, among others. Additionally, Mills played a key role in leading creative design projects, including the development and execution of a national advertising campaign for Capital Funding Group. Caitlin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from the University of Maryland. 

McCormick joined Planit in January 2009 as an account services intern, and soon after, he took the opportunity to broaden his experience and joined the traffic department. He was later hired as a full-time coordinator. McCormick graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and a concentration in marketing.
