Honored at Fourth Annual Baltimore Innovation Awards

Baltimore, MD (October 3, 2016) – At the height of Baltimore Innovation Week 2016, Planit took home the coveted title of 2016 Tech Business of the Year.

Celebrating the city’s top creative minds, Technical.ly Baltimore hosted the annual Innovation Awards, recognizing and highlighting the technical prowess of Baltimore’s innovation and tech community.

“Being named Baltimore’s Tech Business of the Year? That’s just awesome,” said Ed Callahan, executive creative strategist and co-founder at Planit. “Planit is a creative agency with a digital soul. While it’s easy to showcase our creative side we don’t always get to highlight our extensive digital development side—yet that part is so critical to what we do. Creative without a digital aspect won’t cut it. Our teams are proving that every day by working together to make ideas come to life. This award is further proof of it.”

Earlier in the week, Planit also participated in the Media Conference Day where Erica Malanga, Social Media Manager, shared her perspective during the Social Media Strategies panel.

The fourth annual Innovation Awards were aptly held in Baltimore’s Innovation Village, the city’s first innovation district, at the Maryland Institute College of Art’s Brown Center.
