BALTIMORE (February 10, 2023) — Planit, one of Baltimore’s top communications, marketing and interactive agencies, announced today that Christine Boling joined as Director of Human Resources (HR). In her new role, Boling’s primary goal is to develop and implement the people strategy for Planit in alignment with agency goals.
Boling will sit on Planit’s Senior Leadership team and champion initiatives that support the business in the agency’s creative and engaging culture. Key to her role, Boling will oversee employee retention and recruitment, as well as continue to foster trust with employees, managers and senior leadership, in addition to coaching and advising Planit employees. She will also supervise Planit’s various in-house programs including internships, Culture Committee, peer mentorship, and DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) Committee. Boling will serve a key role in supporting Planit in its next phase of growth as an agency.
In 2022, Planit experienced substantial growth in agency gross income, increasing from a 7% year-over-year growth from 2019 to 2020, 11% from 2020 to 2021, and 29% from 2021 to 2022. Additionally, reflecting that growing client success, Planit saw a 22% increase in headcount from 2021 to 2022.
Boling is an accomplished operations and human resources professional with an extensive background in executing human resources strategies for employees across different industries as a champion for people and culture. She has experience leading benefits administration, performance management, organizational change, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations and wellness, compliance, and diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives.

Boling joins Planit most recently from Hungry Harvest where she served as the Vice President of People Operations. Previously, Boling worked at FX Studios as the HR Manager, and Order Up, a Baltimore based startup, as the Director of HR before being acquired by Groupon Inc. Boling holds a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Towson University.
