Planit’s Creative Alchemy Shines with Seven ADDYs

BALTIMORE (March 5, 2024) — Baltimore-based advertising agency, Planit, was honored with seven awards at the 50th Annual American Advertising Awards Gala on Thursday, February 29, 2024. Planit’s award-winning creative spanned multiple industries and disciplines, featuring creative work in healthcare, nonprofit, cannabis and building product industries.

The Baltimore American Advertising Awards, also known as the ADDYs, is hosted by the American Advertising Federation of Baltimore (AAFB) and pays tribute to the region’s most talented marketing and communications professionals. The Wizard of Oz-themed, “We’re off to see the ADDYs,” event was hosted at the Baltimore Museum of Industry in downtown Baltimore and welcomed more than 300 local professionals to the celebration.

“We’re working with $8 billion companies right next to start-ups. We’re developing brands from scratch, creating global campaigns, constructing shop-in-shop experiences, bringing brand activations to life on social media and at the world’s most prestigious trade shows,” said Jed Jecelin, executive creative director at Planit. “We work on everything from outdoor power tools to health innovations, building more beautiful homes to building stronger, safer families. This year the AAFB awarded 118 ADDYs, of which 89 were silver and 29 were gold, to local agencies, production houses and in-house marketing teams. To ensure fair judging, three creative advertising professionals from outside of the Baltimore market reviewed each entry. Gold award entries will automatically move on to the regional competition to compete with agencies from Maryland, Pennsylvania, New York, Delaware, Virginia and Washington, D.C.
